It is an unusual time here at The City of Games, so much is happening that I want to be able to talk about but we're not there just yet. It's the calm before the storm and I know next month's update will be one you will not want to miss.
I would usually start my updates with a longer introduction about how things are going but this month I am far too excited! Are you ready for something new?
I can't believe we are already half way through the year and the countdown to Christmas has begun (it's not too early right?)!
As you read this, I’ll be in the halls at UK Games Expo setting up my booth for when the doors open tomorrow. How I have missed being at shows and can not wait to see some of you tomorrow! You'll find me just past the main entrance to hall 1 at stand 1-724.
The last few weeks have been great, I’ve finally had a little time to relax which meant Sara and I finally got around to playing It Takes Two. What an incredible game that was, perhaps my favourite co-op video game experience of all time.
I can’t believe we’ve made it to April and the fulfilment of The Isle of Cats: Don’t forget the kittens! has completed. It’s a strange feeling wrapping up a Kickstarter and I’m certainly missing it. Yet, with everything shipped I’m really excited to be able to start focussing on what comes next full time and I’m happy to be able to spend more of my day focussing on game design for a while!
Happy March! It's nearly spring here in the UK and I'm excited to start seeing some blue skies and baby animals running around soon! Over the past 2 weeks I have started fulfillment for The Isle of Cats latest Kickstarter and I am happy to confirm that Kittens + Beasts, Boat Pack, Explore & Draw, and a number of promos and other items are now available to pre-order in my store!
It has been nearly 2 years since I attended a convention because of the global pandemic but I am happy to say that this year I plan to attend several events. Currently I have organised a booth for both Gen Con in the USA and UKGE in the UK and I am in the process of looking at which other shows I will be attending.
