Happy November!
The holiday season is nearly here and I am looking forward to a multitude of festive celebrations in the weeks to come, the first of which will hopefully be the funding of the Race to the Raft Kickstarter. There are just 24 hours left and I couldn’t be happier with how the campaign has gone, thank you for your support.
You can find the Kickstarter here.
Try the 5-minute demo
If you are still undecided then I’d recommend giving the demo a try, while it’s not a true representation of the full game, it will give you a good idea of what to expect while teaching you everything you need to know in just a few minutes.
Worried it is too easy? Then once you have beaten the normal demo you can try the more challenging demo and keep in mind the later scenarios (of the 100+ available) get much harder still.
Introducing my new USA & Canada store
One of my big goals for 2023 is to launch a brand-new online experience, making it easier to find my games, friendlier to use, and cheaper to buy.
This will happen over multiple phases where a new design will be launched early next year, and I’ll be introducing regional stores using local currencies.
I’m starting this process by launching my new USA & Canada store that charges everything in USD rather than GBP and ships from local warehouses.
Assuming everything goes well, I hope to launch other regional stores next year. For now, the UK and EU can still get customs friendly shipping from my international store which ships worldwide.
Publisher lessons
This month in publisher lessons I discussed the following topics:
- It just takes a box
- 5 ideas for customer first crowdfunding
- Quick digital demos
- Mid-campaign comics
- Who is using Kickstarter and why?
- Can publishers create a special collection?
- Creating a better online store – The journey begins
An update on Frank
The last month has been entirely focussed on running the Race to the Raft Kickstarter and I haven’t had much chance to do anything else. However, I was lucky enough to receive a Steam Deck recently and I will be flying to the US on Saturday. I’d love to hear your game recommendations for the plane!
Until next time
I’m looking forward to celebrating the successful funding of the Race to the Raft Kickstarter before flying to the US for meetings all next week. When I get back, I’ll be finalising all the files for the printing of Race to the Raft and then starting work on the new store design.
It’s going to be a busy month but I’m very excited to see so much happening.
I hope you have a fantastic November!

Thanks for the update!
I haven’t played it myself yet but I here from multiple people that “Vampire Survivors” is an absolute blast on Steam Deck. Signs like a great way to waste some hours on a plane.

I’ve not come across Vampire Survivors before, I’ll have to take a look.
Thanks Dan!
