City of Games July update: New game day!

Is there anything better than when you return home from work and see a big brown box has been delivered? You rip it open and see a brand-new game inside, waiting for you to take it to the table. You take off the lid and find a box filled with beautiful artwork. You pick up the figures for a closer look and can’t wait to get it to the table. It always puts a smile on my face!

This week, fulfilment has started for Race to the Raft, and thousands of games are arriving at people’s homes. I really hope they have a similar experience when opening the box. It’s a game I’ve spent years creating, and I’m looking forward to hearing about your gaming sessions in the days to come.

If you missed the campaign, you can pre-order Race to the Raft here or wait until its retail release later in the year.

I’m also excited to confirm that I will be at Gen Con in just a few weeks and if you’d like to take a look, I will have Race to the Raft with me. You’ll find me at booth 2758 throughout the show, and I hope to see both new and familiar faces there. If you are looking forward to Race to the Raft, you could give it a thumbs up on the Gen Con list to help others find it!

Low stock

The Big ‘2-minute’ Box for The Isle of Cats, which allows you to store the game along with all its expansions and accessories in just one box is getting low on stock.

It wont be back in stock until 2024 so if you are wanting to get the box, I’d recommend taking a look sooner rather than later.

At present all other in-stock items are well stocked.

Publisher lessons

This month in publisher lessons I discussed the following topics:

An update on Frank

I had a fantastic chat with Ricardo from Split Chicken last week where we discussed video games, board games, and everything in between. It was a fascinating discussion that touched on a lot of interesting things which made me dive into topics I’ve not previously discussed.

Until next time

The next few weeks are looking to be the busiest of the year, with Race to the Raft fulfilling and Gen Con not far away there is a lot to do. Most importantly though I want to celebrate Race to the Raft and share it with the gaming world!
