2018 has just begun and I would like to start by wishing you all a happy new year! I hope you managed to play some games and spent time with your families over this festive period.
So, what’s coming in 2018?
The City of Kings board game
The City of Kings will be shipping in the next couple of months to all our Kickstarter supporters and anyone who pre-ordered a copy. Once shipping is on its way the game will go on sale in shops all around the world.
If you are based in the UK and would like to secure a copy then I recommend you contact your local board game store, they can now pre-order the game from their suppliers.
If you are based in the US, then I recommend pre-ordering via The Game Steward who are working with us to supply games across America.
If you are from somewhere else in the world then your local board game store is the best place to start, we had many small stores from all around the world pre-order copies of the game and hopefully your local store was one of them.
We will have some games available which can be purchased directly from us, the majority of these will be sold at conventions but we are hoping to have some available on our website as well. I must however stress that we will have an extremely limited supply.
Over the next few months we will be releasing content for Vadoran Gardens, our tile placement card game, set in The City of Kings universe. Vadoran Gardens will be on Kickstarter in the second quarter of 2018 and I’m incredibly excited to be able to share this game with you soon!
Rising Blades continues to be developed and will be on Kickstarter in the second half of this year, we will have the latest prototypes with us at both UKGE and Gen Con. I had originally hoped for Rising Blades to be released sooner, but to make the game the best it can be I have decided to spend a few extra months working on the game.
I will be trying to attend as many conventions as possible in 2018, and to start here are a few places you will find me in the next couple of months.
- StabCon 5 – 7 January
- HandyCon 19 -21 January
- The City of Games 9 – 11 February
- AireCon 9 – 11 March
Later in the Year
I can also confirm we will be exhibiting at both the UK Games Expo and Gen Con this year, and hope to see some of you there!
