Introducing the Big ‘2-minute’ Box for The Isle of Cats

Update: The 2-minute box is now available here.

It is more than a box.

The upcoming Kickstarter for The Isle of Cats expansions will drastically increase the amount of components in the game, with a total of 5 expansions now available along with several component upgrades, I wanted to design a storage solution optimised for everyone.

Yet, I didn’t just want this to be about storage, I wanted to design something to assist you in setting up and packing away the game, to let you customise and store your game the way you want.

This box is designed so you can setup and play the game, using any combination of expansions you choose, in just 2-minutes.

Here’s a quick video.

The Big ‘2-minute’ Box will be available on Kickstarter from May 25th.

    Hey Frank,
I think this is gorgeous work, anyhow I do not totally understand where to put all the cards in. The two big boxes are for the “common” 2-4 players game, right? Then there is the extra card holder. Total left you put in the rules explaination cards?
8+ is for family game cards? 1 for solo mode? 5-6 for the cards for the 5-6 players expansion? And A-I is for the cards of the other expansions, with no concrete place for the card types?!?
Looking forward to reading your reply, thanks a lot!

Hey Matthias, It looks like you have everything correct, the 2 big boxes are for the cards you are currently playing with (you’ll only need to use both boxes if you sleeve your cards). As for the A-I slots, these are for the various lesson modules and if you’re not familiar with what I mean by lesson module, you can find details on page 23 of the rulebook. Otherwise it sounds like you are good to go!
